I've always loved doodling, but never really did much of anything "constructive" with it. My drawing habit kept me awake through college though, so I guess the habit has "paid off" to some extent! Most of my artwork has been somewhat aimless, though. It's been a while since I've focused on an artistic "project" - until recently, that is. I'm not quite sure what promted the facination with circles, but here are the results!

This is probably my favorite piece that came out of my circles project. I started with a "template" that I did in Corel Draw which was simply a uniform collection of circles. I then used black ink to "fill in" each circle with a different design or pattern. Some of the adjoining circles go together, but most of them are simply random.

Circles Two uses the same circles template that was used in Circles One. There are multiple interlocked groups of circles that all have the same pattern.

This was one of the earlier circle projects I worked on. Not really much to this - it's just a big collection of circles. Some areas have a higher concentration than others. This one was also done in ink.

Circles Four was somewhat fun. This is one of the first works to make up my circle series. This work is in pencil, and features a random splash of circle designs throughout the page. This is one that kept me awake during college!
